Lighting Termination Board

The lighting system, like other systems, utilizes
the time interval data transfer control. The
addresses of the termination boards as used in
this configuration are determined by the dip
switch setting on the 81155 board itself.
Part #81155, lighting control mother board, is
a16 output and 16 input mother board for use in
lighting control systems. Headers are provided
for the encoder/decoder, part #81650, and
additional headers are provided for the plug in
drivers, part #81033.
The RR9 relay driver, part #81033, interfaces
the TIDT control system via optical coupler to
the GE RR9 relay.
All field terminations are actually made to the
RR9 relay. The RR9 relay contains a 20 amp
120 volt / 277 volt mechanical contact. The high
current, high voltage contact is controlled by
low voltage control wiring, which is connected
to the MTI part #81033. The control voltage for
the GERR9 relay is typically 24V half-wave
rectified.
The individual lighting relays are plugged on to
the part #81033 relay driver via a Molex
connector which is factory installed.
Each individual relay is a completely isolated
contact. Part #81033, relay driver, also provides
for optical isolation of the relay system voltages
from the control system voltage.
