Camera Switcher

The looping camera switcher, part #81059, provides
16 looping camera inputs which are electronically
switched to a single monitor output. The switching
functions of the 81059 are determined by the program
detained in the processor supplying data to the
device. The looping camera switcher provides electronically
switched and buffered switching for all camera
input signals. The switching is synchronized on
the video signal to allow for in phase switching of all
cameras. In addition, the on board video amplifier
buffers the incoming, thus providing a video signal to
the monitor output line.
The looping camera switcher can be utilized in a matrix
configuration or any camera switching configuration.
The functions of the switching are determined
by the programs contained in the processors driving
the data loops of the devices.
The address assignments of the camera inputs are
determined by the dip switch located on the 81059
camera switcher. A chart showing the dip switch settings
versus the input addresses is shown on the following
page.
The camera video signals are completely isolated from
the MTI control system. All control signals are optically
coupled on the 81059, thus providing complete
electrical isolation between the control system and
the camera system.
